Jes MaHarry We are so proud to be carrying a glorious collection by Jes Maharry. We have admired Jes, and coveted her stylish and spiritual pieces for years, so when we met her and found her to be as vibrant and totally infused with positive energy as all her jewelry, we knew we had to show her work! Jes is from a family of artists, and her other passion early in life was horses. Jes rode her horses bareback and wandered for treasures through the gentle fields and forests of upstate New York. Her work combines this young, childhood whimsy and love of all things ‘natural and real’ with her amazing eye for structure and style. While traveling as a young woman, Jes formed relationships with Native American artisans and African bead traders. Integrating her creativity and emerging skills, her love of color merged with beads; her love for illustration merged with raw metal. Jes says that she is fueled by “challenge and risk...that’s what creates the wind in my fire,” adding that “the most cherished rewards come when people tell me how good it makes them feel to wear my jewelry.”
